5th LEAN HEALTHCARE ACADEMY ANNUAL CONFERENCE & AWARDS 2013.

Virtual College is to hold its 5th LEAN HEALTHCARE ACADEMY ANNUAL CONFERENCE & AWARDS 2013 at the Marriott Hotel in Leeds on Thursday 7th February 2013.  This afternoon and evening event is both a forum to share best practice and to reward those who have adopted and sustained Lean working principles in the healthcare sector. 

The afternoon, starting with lunch at 1pm, will see delegates visit an exhibition of award finalists work and attend workshops covering many areas of Lean working principles.  It will allow time for networking with colleagues from across the UK and the sharing of best practice in different disciplines.  

The evening drinks reception begins at 6.30pm followed by dinner where a winner will be announced from each of the 9 award categories.

Leading Large Scale Change through International Alliances Conference

Hilton Hotel Leeds – 2nd April 2012

Many NHS organisations from across the North of England have developed alliances with international partners to support them in transforming services at a local level. 

Given the significant challenge of leading this large scale change in the NHS, NHS North of England hosted a Leading Large Scale Change through International Alliances conference enabling senior clinical and managerial leaders to learn from the application of a variety of international approaches to transforming health care.

In addition to plenary sessions led by Professor Stephen Singleton and Professor Helen Bevan, 25 interactive sessions provided participants with the opportunity to discuss the challenges and successes of applying their learning in leading large scale change.
