Well now you can. Currently in Yorkshire and the Humber there are a number of trusts asking local people to sign up as supporters and have a say on their future plans.
As a member you would be kept up-to-date with plans as well as be able to influence how services are developed.

Each trust will be able to tell you more about their plans for becoming a foundation trust and the benefits of becoming a foundation trust member.
Remember – anyone can get involved, whether you’re just living in the local area, have been a patient or just have an interest in the trust.
