The SHA monitors the performance of NHS organisations in Yorkshire and the Humber in relation to nationally determined targets, including waiting times. A performance report is made to each meeting of the SHA Board and can be accessed via the following link: Board Meetings.

In March 2010, the SHA underwent an assessment of its own performance by the Department of Health, known as SHA Assurance. A report confirming the outcome of this assessment and the SHA’s response was taken to the SHA Board in July 2010
The DH undertook a second assurance assessment of the SHA in May 2011; this time assessing transition and performance across the region rather than focusing on the SHA.
