Welcome to the web-page dedicated to Non Executive development across Yorkshire and the Humber.
We are reaching the end of the 2009/2010 year for training and development events and I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your support. The past year has seen an increase in events that are relevant, topical, challenging and provide good networking opportunities for the Non Executive community. I plan on next year (2010/2011) being as good, if not better. A few events still to run from the current programme are mentioned below together with a reminder of the Chairs Conference.
The Chairs Conference is on the 23rd February at QE2 Conference Centre London Westminster. If you have still not had the chance to register please go to the link below:

On the 25th February there are a few places left on the Audit Committee members event at The Pavilions in Harrogate. This event is being run in partnership with North Yorkshire Audit Services. If you would like further information or a place on this event please email me.
Two further events, Strategy Culture and Change and In the Public Interest, are on the 9th and 15th March and are full. I hope to be able to offer places on repeats of these later in the year.
Ethics in Healthcare Leadership is taking place on the 26th April. This event is part of the series of 3 events from ATM Consulting which has received excellent feedback from NEDs and Chairs in the East Midlands and North West regions. Further details are on the programme page, the invitation has been sent to every NED in our region.
The Learning and Development Committee met in December to review the activity over the last year and agree on the content of the future programme. I will add a full draft programme to these pages as soon as possible.
