Background
As one of the NHS/Learning and Skills Council partnership workstreams, the NHS in Yorkshire and the Humber is working closely with the LSC, schools, colleges and established work experience co-ordinators / business link partners in West Yorkshire to increase the number of high quality work experience opportunities in the health and social care sector.
Aims of the toolkit
- To provide an information and good practice resource to help staff working in NHS and partner organisations identify a wider range of quality work experience opportunities for learners of all ages
- To demonstrate how innovative thinking, new approaches and new models can overcome barriers to offering work experience
