NHS Yorkshire and the Humber

The Clinical Skills Network Executive Group, in collaboration with NHS Yorkshire and the Humber, works to ensure equity across the region.  It acts in an advisory capacity in relation to  financial investment and has the authority to decide on smaller bid submissions.

The many successes of the group have already increased the number of clinical skills laboratories and resources across the region.  A Surgical Skills Strategy has also been formed, with the development of a regional clinical skills strategy for launch in 2010.

The group has provided input into a regional obstetrics emergencies training review.

The executive membership is drawn from key stakeholders in the region, representing the wide range of organisations and professional groups, both providing and accessing, regional clinical skills training.  The terms of reference describes the aims of the group.  To view the current membership, click here.

Key work streams are identified and commissioned by the committee to explore key areas for improvement and investment.   For information about the current working groups, please link to Strategic Clinical Skills Advisor's page here.
