NHS Yorkshire and the Humber

The Clinical Skills Executive has worked on areas for improvement and development within Clinical Skills (CS) in the Y&H region, resulting in the publication of a Clinical Skills Strategy in August 2010.

The strategy was developed in collaboration with the Clinical Skills Network  members, utilising the regional CS conference reports for 2008 and 2009 and 2010 and Y&H CS & Simulation - the current situation 2008 - 2009 report as guidance.

A number of  Strategic Clinical Skills Advisors have been appointed in 2010 to take the strategy forward.  Further details regarding these posts can be found by clicking here

In correlation with the aims and outcomes of the clinical skills strategy, the  Strategic Clinical Skills Advisors are committed to providing evidence which supports best practice and maintains patient safety. Below are the current research contributions of the team (published and unpublished).
