NHS Yorkshire and the Humber

The Yorkshire and the Humber Clinical Skills Network Forum is an open meeting for those involved in Clinical Skills training in this region to share expertise and good practice, to network with other educators from around the region and to address areas of concern. 

The purpose of the group is:

  • To provide a support network for all those involved in clinical skills teaching in the Yorkshire and Humber region
  • To ensure Yorkshire and the Humber region is at the forefront of clinical skills education and training in the modern health service through the dissemination of best practice
  • To ensure the provision of consistent quality assured clinical skills education and training based on best practice, to enable all staff involved in clinical care in the Yorkshire and Humber region to provide safe patient care and minimise risk

The Clinical Skills Network meets three times a year.  It has two representatives who are part of the Clinical Skills Executive group.  This forum is key to sharing best practice across the region, via their meetings and the Annual Conference.  Please click here for the full Terms of Reference.

This years CSN Annual Conference will be held at Sheffield Hallam University on the 4th September 2012, details will soon be available on the new CSN website see link below.

 

Network members will receive an invitation to attend each meeting, along with venue information and the agenda via e-mail prior to the meeting date.
