Tackling the underlying causes of health inequality is the main focus of the wider public health team. This includes working with partners to improve education and skills, employment opportunities and experience, improve housing, transport and the urban and rural environment and to regenerate communities as all impact on health and well-being. A key area of activity is supporting the negotiation of health and care content of Local Area Agreements.
