Good information and intelligence lies at the heart of health improvement. Through our work with the Yorkshire and the Humber Public Health Observatory (YHPHO) we work with a range of organisations regionally and nationally to provide information and evidence to support the commissioning, planning and development of services to improve health.
YHPHO is closely linked to information specialists in PCTs, acute trusts, local authorities, regional organisations such as Yorkshire Futures, cancer registries and academic researchers. Expertise includes health economics, child and maternal health intelligence, diabetes health intelligence, health equity audit, social marketing, geodemographic and statistical profiling and disease prevalence modelling.
