The ‘Releasing time to care: productive ward’ programme is an innovative and practical programme of work which aims to help front-line teams focus more on directly caring for their patients.
The programme provides tools and guidance to help ward staff make changes to their ward environment and working processes to significantly increase the proportion of time spent providing care directly to patients, improving the patient experience, quality of care and safety standards, as well as making space work well for staff - saving time, effort and money.
