David is the Yorkshire and the Humber clinical lead for stroke. Working as part of the SHA team to improve stroke services in the region. He is currently chairing the panel of experts for the Y&H Stroke Accreditation review Day and continues to work with Strategy, Performance collegues and the Stroke Networks to deliver the National Stroke Strategy and the Accelerating Stroke Improvement programme.
Liz Spice: Stroke Performance & Delivery Lead

Liz is responsible for the monitoring of stroke services within the region. She works closely with PCT Clusters, Providers and Network colleagues to improve performance across the region, with a key objective for 2011/12 being to improve the quality of data recording across the region to ensure future commissioners have the best quality information to aid their decisions. Liz also project manages the Y&H Stroke Accreditation process and is the lead for the Accelerating Stroke Improvement (ASI) programme.
Sarah Halstead: Project Lead for Y&H Telemedicine Project

Sarah is the lead for the telemedicine project in Yorkshire and the Humber. She is working closely with all stakeholders to ensure the smooth roll out of telemedicine across the region. The use of telemedicine will help further improve the quality of stroke services, ensuring 24/7 expertise are available to identify and treat patients regardless of the possible geographic and workforce constraints.
Helen Dowdy: Associate Director of Strategy and lead contact for Healthy Ambitions

Responsible for strategic leadership for improving stroke services in line with the vision set out in Healthy Ambitions. Helen leads on service strategy, reconfiguration and strategic planning for the SHA.
